I just saw a sedan version of my wagon in the same siver with a stick on hood scoop, VatoZone chrome strips, and horrid dual fart cans (no SR20). How about you peeps?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:26 |

I own a BRZ. What do you think?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:27 |

Not one off the top of my head at least, but on my way to school I saw a 4 door E46 with yellow tinted fog lights, and I was recently thinking about yellow tinting my lights, so there’s that.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:31 |
|
Same answer for me, but replace BRZ with Jetta.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:32 |

lol WRX!!! I’ve seen the beat up version with the Bro that would rather spend more money on blowout valves, big(ger) wings, subwoofers, and unpainted air dams. I’ve also seen a couple stanced (neutered) WRXs. Both versions make me want to cry.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:32 |

In person? No, I haven’t seen a modified second-gen Mazda3 hatch. If I do though, it’ll probably have a shitty fart can on it, knowing my luck.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:32 |
|
Normalize the paint, get ride of the chrome, lose the fart cans and it wouldn’t be a bad looking car.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:33 |

Came to post about my Sti, you’ve covered it though.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:34 |

I saw a D2 A8 yesterday with what looked like the spoiler off an Escort ZX2.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:34 |

Yeah
At least do it right. Smh
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:35 |

Well I have a Z so....yeah...horrible things happen
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:47 |

I own a Camaro. People have been making poorly modified versions of it since 1967.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:50 |

All day, every day.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:51 |

Luckily the S and V 60 are safe...
But the C30
I will admit im childish and the doors are kinda cool... but that color. And interior.
Yeah...
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:53 |

Sadly, all the time.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 14:54 |

I have yet to see a B17 Sentra modified in any way, so probably not.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:00 |

ever see a non modified version of your car?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:04 |
|
Yeah, you texted it to me
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:05 |
|
Yeah.... I drive a miata AND a mustang, both have some pretty bad owners...
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:05 |
|
I own a Jeep TJ and 2014 pathfinder.
no sure if I have ever seen a non modified jeep tj. hell mine’s modified too.
but for the pathfinder I don’t think i saw any modified ones yet, unless you count a hood deflector
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:17 |
|
yes....
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:20 |

There are plenty of WRX mods done in poor taste.
From a different car:
How about a cabriolet?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:20 |
|
Goodness it’s awful...
There are tons of others too.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 15:21 |
|
Nope.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:03 |
|
WRX wagons are slightly better off than the sedans in terms of the rice factor, but not immune...
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:04 |
|
There is this awful twindoor version of my estate that exists.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:15 |
|
In person? No. On facebook someone made a diffuser out of cardboard and stuck it on a Sonic.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:17 |

nice lambo dude
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:22 |

I drive an FR-S. What do you think?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:23 |

Hahaha I posted the same thing before I saw your post. 86 life!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:33 |

You’ll never know true facepalmitus until you come down to Houston and see ALL the Camaros on Swangas
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:34 |
|
It is extra sad when it’s an older car
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:34 |
|
But lambo doors and transformer badges are SO COOL!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:36 |
|
Oh god, this!!! Why the hell are these things even a thing, let along on these cars!?!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:42 |
|
Isn’t this just regular Superb on low spring with some questionable wheels?
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:52 |
|
Honestly, I haven’t seen too many bad one. The occasional stance bro but usually they are clean and subtle
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:53 |

Oh dear lord
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:54 |

![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:55 |

Ten years ago, there were a bunch of bad Scorts
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:56 |
|
whaaaaaa? Oh lawd!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:56 |
|
Agreed, a whole lot more
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:57 |
|
Never fails that when they are badly modded, they have big subwoofers lol
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:58 |
|
Only bad TJ around these parts are on 26 inch chrome wheels and low profile tires
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:58 |
|
lol oh yeah :]
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:58 |
|
Do it! I had yellow fog lights on every car i’ve owned.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:59 |
|
Haha I just might!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:59 |
|
I’ve seen a could stanced ones. No car is safe from fart cans though
![]() 10/02/2015 at 16:59 |
|
Agreed
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:00 |
|
Yeah in person I haven’t seen any bad Sonics. I’ve seen some good track preped ones though at Lone Star LeMans last year
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:00 |
|
Me either, but some on Google Images look really good
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:01 |
|
Yes. Thankfully most Superb owners don’t do stupid things to their cars. This is about as ugly as it gets, but it exists.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:01 |
|
On Tegys.... I’d say most are done well
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:02 |
|
Not too many bad ones honestly that i’ve seen
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:02 |
|
:’(
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:03 |
|
Not my cup of tea at all. Keep it stock and clean with those WRX wagons
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:05 |
|
On 2nd gen TL’s its iffy
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:07 |
|
Let’s see... 1992 Grand Marquis? Check. 2010 Camaro? Check. 1972 Cutlass Supreme? Check.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:07 |

They are very popular here in my city. It’s a looong stroy but it is narrowed down to a rare wheel found in a particular FWD Cadillac in 1984. Originals can be very expensive so most are replicas of this factory option
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:10 |
|
Oh man! I’ve seen some things on those lol :]
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:10 |
|
tru tru
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:14 |
|
I saw a ghetto’d out white C5 A6 covered in stick on chrome yesterday.
White is also relatively rare. My A6 is Racing green pearl, but even compared to that you don’t see many.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:18 |
|
ewww! Stick on chrome should have never been a thing ever
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:25 |
|
I live in Houston too. I never knew the background on them, but it always seems like they are trying to out do each other with how far the center portion sticks out, and it never looks good. The folks with them on the cars are usually driving like idiots too.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:31 |
|
In Houston, everyone drives like an idiot LOL!! But at least the shins of pedestrian aren’t at risk.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:33 |
|
Mine’s on 15 steelies with fake bead locks. And 35 inch tires that are 11.5 inches wide.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:34 |
|
True, they just seem to take it to another level. Then again, it seems like the guys driving ginormous trucks aren’t much better, though it is impressive to see a dually hustle down I-45 at 90+mph through traffic...impressive and terrifying.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:36 |
|
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:39 |
|
100% would DD!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:40 |
|
I-45... on the rare occasions there isn’t any traffic lol.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:48 |
|
I knoooowwwww.
But do tell me if you go through with the dual exhaust mod! I wanna see it!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:52 |
|
I want to but time keeps winning the battle lol :]
![]() 10/02/2015 at 17:53 |
|
Lol, you need to keep the clumsy German!
![]() 10/02/2015 at 20:56 |
|
I saw a stock Jetta (didn’t look too lowered, if at all) on Bentley rims today lol.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 21:19 |
|
Since I drive a truck, yeah all the freaking time
![]() 10/02/2015 at 22:36 |
|
I wince every time I see a CSL trunk lid on an e46 m3. Also, there used to be an e39 sprayed an awful shade of purple that I’d see sometimes when I was DDing the e39.
![]() 10/02/2015 at 22:46 |
|
ewwwwwww.
![]() 10/03/2015 at 00:14 |
|
Yes, lots of ewww
![]() 10/03/2015 at 00:15 |
|
Purple e39? Nope nope nope
![]() 10/03/2015 at 00:16 |
|
Very rare for trucks to be done good
![]() 10/03/2015 at 02:18 |
|
Baaaaaaaad purple too. Not like a nice midnight deal, we’re talking straight up Grimace.
![]() 10/04/2015 at 05:50 |
|
Every 300ZX cruise. 25% decent unmodified cars, 25% decent modified cars, 50% horrid beasts with peeling paint, mis-match and damaged bumpers, ugly rims and exhaust, vents and intakse where they don’t belong, general poor condition.
Probably true of every single JDM cruise.
![]() 10/04/2015 at 11:29 |
|
A very good description and I 100% agree
![]() 10/06/2015 at 14:09 |
|
I just threw up in my mouth a little....
![]() 10/06/2015 at 14:14 |
|
oh what the? Lol
![]() 10/06/2015 at 14:18 |
|
Right? Anybody that stances a car that’s already as close to herra frush as a MINI really needs their head checked. The sad thing is, there are hundreds on google images. I was just looking for the gaudiest, and it took me a few pages of results...
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:27 |
|
Nah it was RWD. The ‘83 and ‘84 Coupe DeVille had an option for Cragar wires. Since then, it's only gotten better and better.
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:28 |
|
No. There has never been a poorly modded gen 8 Cadillac DeVille.
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:35 |
|
It probably suits their purpose, it looks like it’s an off-road rig, but man was it ugly. And you don’t need to make it so ugly to get all the off-road bits on...
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:45 |
|
Uhhh that’s so horrible... and yet I can’t stop looking...
But I think you just found the answer to this thread?
http://oppositelock.kinja.com/how-did-you-ev…
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:53 |
|
I’m sure it’s capable, but not appealing to the eye for sure
![]() 10/08/2015 at 11:56 |
|
I though the 84 was FWD and had the bigger wire option. You ain’t a baller if your on 83’s. I guess I had them mixed up.
![]() 10/08/2015 at 12:43 |
|
85 was FWD
83s are for the more old school smaller look, but they're both 30 spoke wires.
